How much are attorneys fees for DUI defense?

Posted by Richard Lawson | Mar 19, 2011 | 0 Comments

When you are facing DUI charges, you will probably want to  hire a lawyer to protect your rights and help you get the best possible results.  But how much are the attorneys fees?

There is no single answer to this question.  A spectrum exists in terms of what attorneys charge. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, you can always contact the Public Defender to represent you for a nominal fee.

Mr. Lawson is an experienced and aggressive DUI attorney who has successfully tried dozens and dozens of DUI trials.  His rates are based on a number of factors that are unique to each case.  What your prior criminal history and driver's record look like, as well as the circumstances of the instant case make a difference.  For example, if you had children in the car or there was an accident, it would be a more complicated case.  If it is a felony DUI charge vs. a misdemeanor charge, that makes a difference as well.

In addition, what you are hiring a lawyer for makes a difference, most lawyers will charge less if you know you want to plea vs. if you want a jury trial.

Contact Mr. Lawson today to get an attorney fee quote and to discuss possible payment options.
